POSITION SUMMARYThe Slot Attendant is an important part of the Gaming Operations team and responsible for providing exceptional guest service to all that enter the Spokane Tribe Casino.
The Slot Attendant is responsible for providing guest service on the slot gaming floor and paying out jackpots timely and efficiently.
The Slot Attendant is required to respond promptly and friendly to any service requests, concerns or questions.
The Slot Attendant is expected to handle all cash transactions with proficiency and integrity.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES(These functions are intended as a general illustration of the work performed in this job classification and are not all inclusive for this position) Must be willing and able to work with all regulatory agencies, i.

, Gaming Commission, State, and Federal.
Must learn and ensure policies and procedures are being followed per the departments' Internal Controls.
Must adhere to the Spokane Tribe Casino Handbook.
Must provide best possible guest experience by providing exceptional guest service.
Repairing and maintaining of Video player terminals.
The slot attendant must be proactive and identify problems and solutions concerning issues on the slot floor.
Constantly walk the gaming area to assist customer needs, pushing in chairs to provide clear pathways for customers.
Maintain cleanliness of the gaming area by helping housekeeping.
Pay jackpots.
Ensure video player terminal is filled with tickets in a timely manner, to keep machines in constant operation.
Assist in maintaining gaming floor security by notifying CSM and Slot Shift supervisor of suspicious activity.
Observe gamblers for signs of cheats, scams or irregularities in play.
Notify the proper personnel.
Promote Casino promotions with all Customers, and prompt new customers to sign onto our players club.
Utilize and use the Servizio handheld devices to assist with efficient and fast service.
Additional duties as assigned.

Casino experience preferred, but willing to consider those that can demonstrate customer service experience.
JOB REQUIREMENTS Must be at least 21 years of age.
Must meet all physical requirements and agree to conditions of the position.
Casino experience is preferred.
Must be able to operate digital handheld devices (smart phone or tablet experience).
Guest service experience is required (documented experience holding a position in a guest service field required).
Must be a fun, energetic and engaging Team Member and have the ability to represent the Spokane Tribe Casino positively while interacting with Guests.

While performing the duties of this job the noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to loud.
You will be subject to secondhand smoke when in the casino environment.
REGULATORY AND COMPLIANCE RESPONSIBILITIESIn addition to the other duties described herein, employees have the following responsibilities related to compliance with laws and regulations:
Must be able to obtain and maintain a License B with Spokane Tribal Gaming Commission.
Attend required training sessions offered by the Casinos.
Perform the duties described in compliance with local laws and regulations.
Take the necessary steps to ensure minors are not allowed to gamble or loiter in gambling areas, drink alcoholic beverages, or purchase tobacco.
Have knowledge of the ordinances, regulations, laws, policies, and procedures relating to the employee's department.
Consult Internal Control Procedures and Policy Manuals for guidance.
Report illegal activity to Security or the appropriate levels of Management.

The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
