is hiring a Construction Observer to work in our Spokane, WA office as a key part of our construction team.

The main responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
o Observes all phases of contractor work, procedures, and progress to verify compliance with plans, specifications, and standards; observes construction of municipal projects, developments on behalf of public agencies, airport projects, piping and water reclamation facilities, roadways, earthwork and more.
o Coordinates and monitors testing laboratory tests on a variety of materials; monitors quality control by reviewing testing reports of all construction phases.
o Administers policies and procedures and observes compliance with OSHA, EEO, and labor compliance requirements.
o Computes, reviews, and verifies pay quantities, computations, and materials.
o Prepares/reviews project diaries, testing data, reports, and summaries; prepares drafts for project correspondence.
o Coordinates activities with utility companies, cities, counties, state agencies, property owners and contractors.
o Coordinate with a regional construction manager and other regional offices construction liaisons.
o A minimum of two years Construction Observation experience and/or experience in the construction industry is desired.
o Knowledge and experience with the administration of federally funded projects beneficial.
o Proven consensus building skills.
o Proven ability to self-direct.
o Willingness to work out of town as project location and client needs dictate.
Pay Range:
$25-$35 an hour/Determined by experience.
