Lean Engineer- Spokane/Airway Heights
The Lean Engineer will plan improvement efforts with a localized focus within the organization for short and long-term, low-risk projects under the direction of the Lean Manager and Upper Level Management with work review provided by the Lean Manager as needed.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Support ongoing growth and cost reduction by conducting effective Kaizen Events.
Facilitate Kaizen and Value Stream Mapping Events to support company improvement efforts.
Conduct Lean Training classes as needed to educate employees.
Develop Standard Work and Escalation processes where needed.
Develop and promote flow in both manufacturing and administrative processes.
Lead and guide Lean initiatives at various company facilities.
Assist in the development of a Lean Strategy to be implemented plant wide.
Required Experience
Education, Skills, and Experience:
Education: Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing or Industrial Engineering or equivalent experience
Experience: 2-4 years in a high mix - low volume manufacturing environment
Act as Lead Facilitator for a minimum of ten Kaizen Events.
Excellent people skills, high degree of emotional intelligence.
Continuous Improvement knowledge through demonstrated experience and advanced application of Lean principles (project milestones, facility layout, flow, production metrics, Six Sigma, etc.).
Hands on machinery/process improvement experience.
Understands detailed concepts of manufacturing processes, thorough product knowledge, familiar with administrative department practices (Quality, Production Control, Marketing, etc.).
Able to order material, design, and build shop aides with assistance, when necessary.
Demonstrated leadership skills and the ability to adapt to a changing environment.
Strong written and oral communication skills.
Applies analytical and strategic thinking skills and has the ability to effectively translate strategy into operating methodology and results.
Ability to successfully interact with cross-functional teams.
Excellent computer skills (MS Office, Visio, AutoCAD).
Good understanding of financial measures and goals.
Ability to lead and support empowered employees in a team environment.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
